Esther's Aid for Needy and Abandoned Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to its primary mission to respond to the need of children orphaned by war, genocide and HIV/AIDS. Esther’s Aid provides children and youth with tools for a productive life through basic education and skill development programs that will help alleviate poverty. We work with abandoned children and youth, training them to be a part of their community development program, that will ultimately help them to become productive adults. We pay particular attention to the advancement of equal rights for girls’ education for self-sustenance.
Our mission has evolved in recent years to include hundreds of poor women ravaged with poverty, homelessness and HIV/AIDS. We created a small-scale, micro-finance program to support their arts and craft projects, farming and petty-trading endeavors.
